LFFP Pool Rules 2022

A. All players will pick ALL Games each week using the point spread established by The Spread-Master. Survey Pool Forms with spreads will be posted to the webpage (www.thelffp.com). All spread related questions can be directed to the Spread-Master, Doug LaFreniere (dugie59@cox.net or 401-559-1099.

B. Pool Forms can be filled out after posting up to 1 hr. before kickoff. The Commissioner will NOT call you.

A. Players will be awarded 1 point for each correct pick. You will only receive credit for games picked. Miss a pick and it's wrong.

B. ALL players will be put in 4 Divisions (Berry, Parcells, Saban, Belichick) via randon draw.

C. results of Pool Standings and Weekly Video will be posted on the Webpage Wednesday or Thursday. 

D. ALL players must have an e-mail address

A. Patriot Contest is a Contest to itself. The Contest will last all 18 weeks.

B. Each Player will predict that week's Patriot Games final score

C. Players will be Awarded a Patriot Point based on the differential score. (Differential score is determined by the adding the two differences of your final Patriot score VS actual and your guess of opponents final score vs, actual. The point is to be the lowest.

D. You will receive Patriots Points based on the following scale:

Pick correct final score = 5 Points

Differential 1-2= 3 Points

Differential 3-5= 2 Points

Differential 6-9=1 Point

E. Failure to submit a Final score will be 15 + worse differential of the day AND loss of 1 Patriot Point.

F. The Ruth brown Trophy and Cash prize will be awarded to the one with the most Patriot Points at the end of the Season.

A. Prize Money can be used for Anything

B. Jeffrey LaFreniere Trophy will be awarded to the person with the highest regular Pool point total. The Trophy will be presented by last year's winner. 

B. Pool Fee is $60 ($70 for last year's Horses Ass Winner). Payments due by the end of September.

C. The Jeffrey LaFreniere Trophy and the Rith Brown Trophy  are only lent. They  must be returned at the end of each Season to be prepared for the new winners. 

D. All other trophys or Awards are the possession of the winner.

E, If you forget to call in picks for 2 consecutive weeks, You will be expelled from the Pool and forfeit your pool fee. 

F. The Pool is capped at 30 players.

G. The Commissioner is empowered to decide all disputes. He may consult with special committees. 

If the Pool produces a tie at any level the Tie Breaking criteria will be:

A. Person with the lowest total Differential Score for the Season

B. Players will also get points for picking the correct winning team in the Patriot Contest. This will be the second tie breaker.

PRIZES

CHAMPIONSHIP = $300 AND THE JEFFREY LAFRENIERE TROPHY

RUNNER UP = $200

DIVISION WINNERS = $60

PATRIOT CONTEST = $125 AND RUTH BROWN TROPHY

LAST PLACE = HORSES ASS TROPHY AND PAYS $70 THE NEXT SEASON
